ABOUT ME
i am ashley! I do lots of things, i do silly things, i do less silly things.
i have a multitude of passions, and I try to keep up with them ..mostly. I spend a lot of time with computers, obviously, both in a software and somewhat (slightly) less hardware sense. furthermore, i used to spend a looot of time on video games, first stuff like mariokart7/8/ssbu then more into computer-y games like portal 2 (one of the greatest games of all time™/hj ive never played hl/2) and undertale/deltarune (pleaaase play these).
vocaloid is kind of a big part of my musical sense (i’m visiting the miku expo in düsseldorf in nov 26!). I also play the piano and try to keep up musically, especially on irrelevant things like music theory <3.
if i can ever get an actual reliable program running that can actually get my most recently-listened-to ytmusic songs, i’ll set it up here.
i work at a local small company that does websites for a couple of (semi-)local businesses. technically, I know PHP. but heyy! that’s just a theory. :D In all seriousness, I do spend a lot of time on the internet, and I hope I can share some of it, along with my general thoughts!
also, I consume too much political content! specifically, I try to involve myself in local politics, because it really helps my ability to stay focused :P to that extent, I’m part of BÜNDNIS 90/ Die Grünen, which has let me meet some really amazing people and actually do progressive policy. I really recommend one gets involved in local politics, even if it’s just a small group of people. it really helps in staying grounded and not getting …lost in the online world. it’s so fucking scary what is happening right now in the world.
i own too many things. but i also use too many things. here are some of my uses.
cats are absolutely amazing and i love cats beyond anything. currently I don’t have cats where I live, but I don’t live far from my old ones and pet them occasionally!!!! there’s a guessing game if one would like to try and differenciate <3 (good luck)
